I am 17 years old, 53, and 92lb (41.7 kilo). i eat regularly, and have no eating disorders. im as active as i can be, but thats hard due to hip issues. an overactive thyroid runs in the family- could that be whats wrong with me?

maybe/not. This is evaluated with a simple blood test and exam. I don't know that anything is wrong with you with the numbers you cite.

I don’t believe your thyroid and hip condition are related. Because you are such a young age it’s very possible you have developed biomechanical insufficiency with a possible limb length difference or rotation of the hip causing you to have hip pain. The pain is usually associated with the greater trochanteric bursa or the sacroiliac joint
