Elevated blood pressure in excess of 130/80 or 140/90 depending on your age and your doctor. If you were told you had hypertension, you should be seen by your doctor for advice and treatment if indicated. In the meantime, if you consume salt in excess, reduce to less than 4 grams/per day. Many sources of information with regard to diet, alcohol, family history are available in your public library

It is a blood pressure above which if lowered you live longer and healthier. Discuss with your team. Many causes and high salt diet is almost always involved.
