Severe HTN: It's more accurately: severe HTN with mild symptoms. Mostly BP doesn't cause symptoms, but when it's very high (we're talking >200/>110 - sometimes much higher), there may be angina, heart failure, or encephalopathy. If severe, it's a hypertensive emergency. "urgency" is a term used for a borderline situation.
