Can you be certain that the cyst is the cause of your pain? Ovarian cysts are not usually painful unless they rupture or twist in which case they can be surgically removed safely during pregnancy either laparoscopically or by open surgery. I would abide by the advice of your obstetrician unless you wish a second opinion.
