I recently started to take better care of my teeth. i have started to floss my teeth daily were i wasnt before . i have now started to experience some teeth sensitivity and my teeth feel loose. how worried should i be? are they going to fall out?

It's great that you've started a better oral hygiene routine. However, years of poor oral hygiene may have caused some damage. Brushing and flossing doesn't replace professional dental care. Contact a local dentist for a thorough exam and cleaning to establish the health of your teeth, bone and gingiva. You may need more than a mouthful of toothpaste.

Sensitivity and mobility are signs of loss of bone support.What you didn't mention in or improved (congratulations) oral home care program is regular professional care. You hove to have a sound foundation before the superstructure can be stabilized. Please see a Dentist to begin our road to recovery. Your dentist may suggest that you see a Periodontist. If so, take his/her advice.
