A member asked:

Hi, i heard that there is a chance the mrna vaccine can reactivate an autoimmune disorder and worsen it. i have aps and had previously a superficial blood clot. i'm afraid the vaccine will worsen my illness and blood clots will form after it?

This was a theoretical concern during the very early days of vaccine development. Has simply not been seen with widespread use. APS is not a contraindication to vaccine use and, in fact, is a very good reason to get the vaccine ASAP

This has never been proven or even immunologically conceivable. A lot of fake news abounds regarding these vaccines. Please ignore it and get your JAB. The benefits far outweigh the risks. But one caveat, if you are on a potent immune suppressant, the effect on your antibodies might be blunted, so, check with your doctor.
