A member asked:

Im about a month out from getting the jj vaccine. do i still need to be worried about blood clots from the vaccine? could future exposure to covid and production of antibodies trigger blood clots related to the jj vaccine?

Perspective?: It appears that the blood clot complications are related to specific batches, or lots, and not ubiquitous. The clots occur within a few days of the "jab", and would not be expected beyond 2 weeks.. COVID-19 itself could result in clotting of vessels to brain and/ or heart, but the vaccine should protect quite well, and NOT create additive risk.

CDC JUST PUT A HOLD ON JJ BECAUSE OF BLOOD CLOTS. TRY TO GET THE MODERNA OR PFIZER VACCINE. NO NEED TO WORRY BUT STILL GET VACCINATED.
