Doubtful that the gum is "stuck." May have caused irritation, however. If heavy coughing douse not result in expectoration of foreign object (gum), it may be prudent to seek a medical examination.

If you swallowed the gum the irritation may be due to transient damage to mucus membrane. If you did not have cough, it is unlikely that the gum went into your lungs. Give it time. If you still have symptoms a week from now, see a doctor.
