I have a swollen throat. i ate too much fried food and tidbits. just a swollen throat. its uncomfortable to swallow things. how do i cure it?

Possibly reflux: It is possible that because of your over eating and the fact that it was fried food that you had some reflux. Stomach juice coming up into your throat can cause burning. For that reason you might try some liquid antacids like maalox or mylanta. A tablespoon after each meal and before you go to bed may coat the throat and help. Stay away from acid foods and drinks for a while as well.

Cold clear liquids: Often times these symptoms are associated with mild trauma to the throat. Cold, clear liquids are best. Symptoms should resolve in a day or two.
