A member asked:

What happens if i accidentally inject a bit of air/air bubbles with im injection? is there a chance it hits a vein??

Even if that tiny amount of air entered a vein I think you wouldn't suffer any harm. Some experts feel that it would take 200 ml of air to be lethal, but some feel that 20ml may cause harm.

Agree with Dr. C. Injection of an air bubble, from ambient air, even into a vein is not likely to cause any problems.
