A member asked:

How rare it is for a 19 year to be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer? it's probably just my anxiety, but i've been experiencing chronic back pain, side pain, constipation, upper abdominal bloating, and a deep ache in upper/mid abdomen?

You are correct, it's probably just your anxiety. Most people who develop pancreatic cancer are older than 45. In fact, 90% are older than 55 and 70% are older than 65. However, adults of any age can be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. To ease your concerns, see your physician to be thoroughly examined. ref: https://www.cancer.net/cancer-types/pancreatic-cancer/risk-factors

Pancreatic cancer is highly unlikely. For constipation - You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. For the long term you may try to increase your intake of fiber foods. Consult this site for fiber foods. http://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/nutrition-and-healthy-eating/in-depth/high-fiber-foods/art-20050948
