Is it normal to have trapped gas under the right ribs & back for 3 days straight? every time i breathe in it feels like im being stabbed in the ribs. i dont have any other pain besides that & i had my gallbladder removed 2 years ago?

Gas pain should not persist for 3 days and it should not behave as what your description. I think about 3 possible conditions: -Early symptoms of shingles and you can see the rashes on that area by now. -Post cholecystectomy syndrome: some people experience the right upper abdominal pain years after the surgery. -Broken rib after a heavy cough or laughing & touching the rib elicits the same pain.
