Dog bite to the pinkie, got to the bone, bleeding stopped quickly and disinfected the wound with betadine. my concern is pins and needles at the tip of the finger. how would i know if its serious long term nerve damage or just something minor?

For dog bites you need antibiotics as you can develop an infection in the bone, especially if it went to the bone .. You also may need a tetanus shot if not up to date and rabies vaccine if you do not know the status of the dog Follow up today with ER
