I was diagnosed with umbilical cellulitis, how long does it usually take for it to go away? its been a few weeks since i went to the doctors and it hasnt gone away completely?

You don't mention what your treatment was. Umbilical cellulitis is usually a bacterial infection that responds to a course of appropriate antibiotic treatment. If your umbilical area is reddened and feels like a burning sensation, go back to your physician for evaluation and appropriate treatment.

may not have been appropriate antibiotics that were given, so infection not completely resolved have it rechecked may need a different antibiotic.
