Keep it clean: Wash with soap and water unless your water is well water. If so use saline to wash it. You also may also need to be tested for blood diseases.

Neosporin: I would just put neosporin or some triple antibiotic ointment on it for now. That should keep it moist , treat infection and allow it to heal.

Local hygiene: Wash with soap n water. Dry. Apply antibiotic ointment and cover the area with some type of a dressing ie telfa pad bandaid etc.

Went to primary doc for symptoms of infection/possible cellulitis. Swollen groin lymph. Doc did bloodwork and came back with nucleated rbc of 87 cells/UL. Neutrophils 502. WBC 2.9. All other lab work is normal. Do I need a hospital? Next steps?
