It can happen: Mainly it depends on the cause of kidney disease. G. Remuzzi in italy runs a renal remission clinic and he recommends all patients be treated with ace i or arb, statin, verapamil, low protein diet, aggressive uric acid control, tobacco cessation, weight loss to bmi.
