A member asked:

Please let me know if only hiv antibodys will clear antigenp24 in the blood and if there was not antibodys still then the antigenp24 will stay detectable in blood?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

In an untreated person p24 persists in blood with or without HIV antibody. If you have HIV, get treatment as regular treatment can keep HIV under control, prevent transmission of infection and provide a near normal life span. Do not delay seeing doctor and getting treated, if you have HIV. Wish you good health!
