Doctor my wife had a kidney removed a year ago. her last wbc test was 40,000 and platets were 100,000 had a bone marrow test, and both have gone up more in a week, doctor what can it be, she is 43 and a runs 7 miles twice a week. please give info?

The information that you have provided is inadequate. Please give us an update of your wife's Blood counts(CBC). We need to know the Differential count(% neutrophils and % Lymphocytes and any immature(Blasts) cells along with the CBC which should include Hemoglobin, WBC, Differential count and Platelet count along with the dates of these tests. Then we can guide you further.

Jak2 V617F at 0.1%, Jak2 ex 12 borderline, BCR-ABL negative, CALR negative, slightly high WBC and neutophil counts on last 3 tests, all other counts in normal range. Would a bone marrow biopsy be necessary and/or give a specific reason?
Vancomycin/levaquin for meningitis last year. Ever since, times of weak/aches. Had low platelets 115k, wbc 3.55. Can meds have damaged my bone marrow?
