Is soflox good for pyelonephritis?

Because the quinolone resistant bugs, especially E. Coli, are so popular nowadays so I will not recommend Soflox alone for treating pyelonephritis unless the urine culture confirms its effectiveness. Mild pyelonephritis can be treated with oral antibiotic(s) but if patient is very sick we usually advise at least 3 days of intravenous antibiotic(s) and then 5-7 days of oral antibiotic.
