I had utis my whole adult life, but since last year i had 2 kidney infections. my hygiene is good, but i am prone to anemia. i have noticed the infection symptoms occurred a few days after my period. could the anemia play a role?

If your anemia is the common iron deficiency anemia that many menstruating females get , then your urinary tract infections are probably unrelated to your anemia.

It may- but generally that is not a major factor in recurrent UTIs . It may be part of another condition which might do so. So pl have it investigated. Good luck
