Im recovering from a stomach bug. the nausea/vomiting has eased up but i have a lot of burning in my throat & chest from throwing up. ive been eating ice pops to try to soothe the burns. is there anything else i can do to calm the throat/chest pain?

Taking an over-the-counter proton pump inhibitor (such as omeprazole) can reduce stomach acid production, reducing the likelihood of further vomiting, and taking the medication, sucralfate, can coat the tissue burned by the stomach contents to help it heal.
