The wrinkly skin is probably a sign of atrophy due to the use of a high potency topical steroid.You may notice that it’s thin and it may bleed easily. Your Dermatologist will be able to prescribe you other topicals that don’t cause atrophy, like Protopic, Calcipotriene and Tazarotene and if necessary, a systemic biologic. The atrophy goes back to normal almost always but it takes more than 1 year.
