Why bother? Such drops are designed to provide their effectiveness by coating the involved surfaces and killing germs by direct contact. There is no added benefit by pooling the liquid material in the canal & there may be a negative if it does. The moisture in the drops can lead to swelling of the canal walls. I would put the drops in let them coat the canal and go on with normal activities/sleep
