A member asked:

I have gilbert syndrome also narrowed bile ducts,is it one of the same or can it make it worse?

Gilbert syndrome is a metabolic disorder caused by a defective gene leading to slow processing of bilirubin, the breakdown product of red blood cells. It triggers a rise in the bilirubin level of the patient with variable symptoms. What you mean by narrow bile ducts is not clear. This could have variable effect based on how much it limits bile excretion. Minimal narrowing=minimal effect.
