Recently had aquaporin4 test & it says neg tested by indirect immunofluores but if suspicion remains high must contact the lab. do i need to perform the test again? thanks?

Depending upon the clinical picture and whether it fits NMOSD (neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder), might consider repeating the testing in approximately 3 months. You might, in meantime, obtain a "MOG" test, and serial exams and MRI's may be necessary to pin down. However, the results may simply indicate that this is MS, not NMO.
