Works in some!: Marinol branded, or generic, is quite expensive. I have used it with some success in patients, but others simply were buzzed! your doctor will experience "prior" authorization requests, and it can be denied, unless he includes a letter and literature suporting its use. I quite, after this, as most physicians do for lack of time!

Yes: Our bodies naturally make pain relievers called endorphins, but they also make other substances that can trigger pain relief in the so-called endocannabinoid system. This system seems to play a key role in many processes in the body, including modulating how we feel pain. Marijuana contains cannabinoids very similar to those that occur in the body naturally.

No: A physician in the us cannot prescribe marijuana. If you live in a state with a medicalization law, you can seek a doctor for a state permit. You are responsible for the substances you use, and the dose. You cannot drive under the influence. It may not be permitted at your work site or residence. Please seek more medical help, as your sense of futility in medical care suggests depression.
