Depends on usage: it can be as long as 6 weeks in heavy users. Picked up in urine tests. On the other hand, it can be gone in a few days in second-hand smoke exposure or a single inhalation. It varies from person to person but not as much as the amount used and especially usage on a routine basis. That causes a lot of build up and longer clearance times.
