Noticed about 10 smallish yellow bruises spread over both legs. bruises only found on legs and nowhere else on body. cbc and urinalysis are normal. what are some likely causes? i started lexapro a month ago. used to take a daily aspirin but stopped?

Although CBC is normal, i.e. you have normal platelet count but platelet dysfunction may still present. Side effects of Lexapro could be platelet dysfunction and purpura such as Aspirin. However, medication related bruises usually do not happen all at once. My advice is to continue with Lexapro but if the bruises keep appearing you can discuss this problem with the prescribed doctor.
