Could i have damaged my thumbs? i fell on cement. landed on hands and knees. a small round cut is in the same spot at the base of each thumb. cmc suspensionplasty with internal brace done 9 & 3 months ago. most recent is quite swollen. mild pain?

Swelling 3 months after a procedure, especially when an internal brace is implanted, MAY indicate late onset bacterial infection. Displacement of brace also possible. Would see a physician (preferably surgeon who performed operation) to re-evaluate ASAP
