A member asked:

I got my first pfizer shot 11 days ago, & i havent been able to sleep much recently. but ive been trying to eat & hydrate well. do you think not sleeping well would significantly impact the strength/speed of my immune response?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

There is some evidence that a night or two of sufficient sleep following any vaccine will enhance the immune response. But that does not mean that the vaccine will fail if insomnia is present. Would complete the two shot cycle, but also have your doctor provide a "sleep hygiene" program.
