Morphine: Taking morphine slow release every 12 hrs is quite fine as this is for baseline pain - you must have a need for continuous around the clock medication. Adding another medication that is short acting for any severe episodes of pain is also quite fine and should not exceed 3/day. Foloow doctors instructions and keep medication secured from others.
