It depends on the extent of the burn. If its just face or shoulders and face, you can topically apply cool compresses then slather the area with a mixture of aloe vera and cocoa or shea butter. If the burn is more extensive, you may want to soak in a tub of cool water. Take Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen for pain relief and drink copious amounts of water and electrolytes.
