Drug interaction question: i took allegra this morning thinking i was suffering from allergies. but, it didn't help my headache and stuffiness at all . so, can i take a dose of alka-seltzer plus sinus and cold? or should i wait until tomorrow?

There is no interaction between Allegra and Alka Seltzer Sinus and Cold. You can take it this evening if you want.

Just an additional caveat. If headache persists or if a pattern of repetitive headaches ensues, best to contact your doctor, as this may or may not be sinusitis in origin and a potential bacterial infection should be considered.

Seasonal allergies will cause sinus congestion pressure and headache besides sneezing and nasal drip. Headache is common because of congestion. A cold medication or adding a D to Allegra as Allegra D will be ok. Doing a sinus /nasal rinse is also recommended. Please use mask to block pollen and close window in house as well. Hope this helps
