A member asked:

Few punctate t2, flair hyperintense signal seen bilateral subcortical white matter. this was written in the mri report ,is it problematic? my doctor said to take mri since i was having tremors and left side weakness. does it really matter?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Your MRI is nonspecific, and non-diagnostic, and the report findings might be associated with prior head trauma, cigarette smoking, migraine, ?microvascular angiopathy, demyelinating disorder, and congenital issues, perhaps. It does not provide definitive answers as to why you have symptoms. See a neurologist and get additional opinion regarding this.
