A member asked:

Can meth cause permanent arrhythmia? or permanent pulmonary hypertension?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Meth, being a vigorous stimulant of the sympathetic nervous system can definitely provoke dangerous paroxsysmal cardiac arrhythmias and pulmonary arterial hypertension. I would assume that it would take chronic use of meth to lead to persistent problems along those lines.
