My husband had surgery 2 days ago and is on meloxicam 15mg. he mistakenly took 2 tonight instead of his pain medicine. he had already taken one this morning too. what should i watch for?? is this an emergency?

I would think not. If it helped pain he main not need pain meds.

Likely no problem: While the dose your husband took is above the recommended dose, there’s little cause for concern if he acts and feels no differently than before. Side effects to watch for would be stomach upset and possibly being more prone to bleeding.
