My dr gave me tylenol (acetaminophen) # 3 1-2 tabs prn. for knee pain after surgery. i took mobic 15mg & tylenol (acetaminophen) 3 still hurting. what else can i do. it's sharp pain.

Lidoderm Patch: With this being a peripheral problem, I would ask your physician if you could try Lidoderm patches to your knee. As long as your incision is closed well and healing, the patch could give you significant pain relief depending on the part of your knee that is causing you the pain. I would suggest you not try to get additional pain medication (narcotics). Also remember ice to the knee should help.
