Genital Herpes can be transmitted sexually even without symptoms. Within 2-3 days of infection you get flu-like symptoms: Headache, Fever, Fatigue, Swollen lymph nodes, especially in your groin and Muscle pains. Some people may feel tingling, burning or pain around their genitals or anus. Very unlikely that it would appear and heal in one day, but many people are asymptomatic. Get tested!
