I agree that anxiety is the most likely cause of your real or perceived tachycardia as true paroxysmal tachycardias do not appear like clockwork each night at bedtime. I would like to be certain by either seeing an EKG done during symptoms or having you wear a Holter Monitor as an outpatient for 48 hours and have you note exactly when you feel you're experiencing tachycardia for accurate diagnosis
