Is pcr rna & nucleic acid test the same. also is dna hiv test the same. which is the best test to take now after a negative 8 months post exposure hiv test using a 4 generation test, still having symptoms like sore throat and body aches. pcr or dna?

If a 4th gen test was negative at 8 months after exposure, you do not have HIV from that exposure. It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see a doctor. Wish you good health!
