All birth control pills increase the risk of blood clot, especially blood clot in the veins.

Micronor is a progestin only birth control. No estrogen. So less likely to cause blood clots.. However pregnancy, roughly is 10 times more likely to cause the same issue with blood clots in the veins, for people who have a genetic increase in risk. So micronor is a relatively safer choice, but risks exist, life has risks.
