A member asked:

Can a nodular melanoma appear and show drastic change such as in colour over 2weeks? or does it usually take a few months for changes to become noticeable?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes. A lesion that looked normal to the naked eye, may develop cancer cells very rapidly. I want to remind you that there are also “ amelanotic” melanomas, that DONT look black , but skin colored. If you got the diagnosis of nodular melanoma and you doubt it, I recommend you to go to another Dermatologist for a second opinion, but Please, have the melanoma treated by experts in the area.
