A 21-year-old male asked:
If one brushed teeth before and deep kissed the another, what's the possibility of hiv transmission? assuming one is positive and that there have been little bleeding, and cuts in the other mouth? are cases like this recorded? is saliva inactivating?

Saliva is a good carrier of hiv. There have been such cases. Good reason to know if who’s are kissing is infected. Discuss with your kisser and your Dr.

SALIVA AND BLOOD ARE CARRIERS OF MANY DISEASES SUCH AS HIV. BRUSHING TEETH CAN RELEASE BLOOD IF YOU HAVE GUM DISEASE EVEN A LITTLE BLOOD CAN BE A CARRIER. DON'T ASSUME, GET TESTED BEFORE ANY SEXUAL CONTACT.
