I just finished a round of doxycycline. im urinating an awful lot. is this a normal thing to happen after finishing antibiotics?

No, this isn't a "normal thing". Many drugs can cause a side effect called SIADH (syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone), which causes increased urine output. Doxycycline might do so, but it's not a common side effect. Check with your doctor if the problem continues.
