Pregnancy diets: Keep your protein calories as the majority and stay away from pleasure foods (basically carbohydrates: bread, potatoes, sugar, pasta, etc.). Your weight gain should be about 18-20 pounds total, but your A-1-C will go up a bit b/c of pregnancy hormones. Get precise monitoring from your OB MD !
