Hello,my mum was recently diagnosed with hepatomegaly,bilateral effusion and ctr of 0.59 and pneumonia. she has swollen feets and abdomen.she feels stomach heaviness everytime she takes a meal and doesnt find it easy going to toilet. what do we do ?

Sounds to me like she has cirrhosis and liver failure. Swelling can be related to too much salt and or low blood albumin. Her care is complicated and she needs to be managed by local Drs.

She needs continued medical attention. Her condition appears serious enough and advanced liver disease maybe at the root of her sickness. Ask her doc what to expect given her symptoms and current treatment.
