My mom has type 2 diabetes i was wondering if theres a chance it was a false positive because she was upset because her mom died i was wondering if emotional stress does that she also had to get her appendix out before she had 1 negative test?

Normally, a stress mediated increase in glucose levels will not leave a lasting effect on the HgA1C levels (which measure glucose levels over 2-3 months). Make sure the Dr is testing HgA1c and not just her fasting/postprandial glucose levels.
