First you must get an accurate diagnosis from your physician of what's causing your bone pain. If it's due to osteoporosis and compression fracture of the spine there are more appropriate medications for treatment for this & osteoporosis in general. HRT in your age bracket is not recommended unless you have intolerable hot flashes that interfere with your quality of life.
