Normally with Gastritis, pain and/or burning in the stomach area would be most common. This has to do with acid that the stomach makes to help break down food, and sometimes it can be overactive or cause inflammation of the stomach lining (gastritis) and can sometimes lead to an ulcer. The best way to tell if this is resolved would be consultation and exam by a gastroenterologist.
