Yes: Intense pain anywhere should always be of concern. Intense abdominal pain can be due to ulcers, gall stones or other gall bladder issues, diverticulitis, acid reflux disease, pancreatitis, or even from heart or lung causes. Best to see your doctor to find out what is the cause of your pain.
